Operating 16 major facilities across a network of five regional hubs, post harvest focuses on tight inventory control to optimise crop value from orchard gate right through to market delivery. Inventory managers understand the key characteristics of each supplying orchard prior to harvest, with supply balanced to each hub’s packing and coolstorage capacity.
While each hub packs the main Green kiwifruit crop, centres of excellence have been created to generate maximum value for orchardists from specialist product groups.
