Seeka supports learning and development by providing a number of opportuntites for staff to develop their career path. These include external training and programs such as modern apprenticeships, cadetships and tertiary study to suit the individual employees needs.
All employees have access to the Primary Industry Training Organisation (ITO) on the job training programs with Seeka's qualified assessors. Seeka also runs internal training programs offered throughout the year.
Depending on the needs of the business and your own professional pathway, training can range from computer skills & first aid programs, to management and commercial training courses.
Personal development plans are available for all staff, high achievers are also chosen to follow a succession plan pathway.
We recognise there is a need in the industry to bring new, fresh ideas into the workforce, and therefore we offer a number of Trainee Management roles which ensures a foot in the door for a new generation or for those wishing to change their career path.
Our cadetship programme enables chosen young people looking to begin a career in horticulture to experience working on an orchard. Paired with an Orchard Manager they are exposed to the full remit of Orchard Management, and can go on to become a trainee manager.
