Jon was raised on a dairy farm in Pyes Pa, after leaving school became an orchard cadet, went onto manage and lease an orchard, and decided organic was the way forward and never looked back. Throughout the kiwifruit industry, Jon holds a number of positions, including BioGro Board Director and chair of the BioGro Impartiality Committee, Exec of COKA (Certified Organic Kiwifruit Association) and exec of the newly formed Certified Organic Avocado Growers as an organic avocado growers.
