Welcome to our grower and stakeholder update, updating you on the changes to the SunGold conventional Period 1 procurement.
A decision has been made to introduce a split rate for week 12 supply. Zespri is concerned that there is a shortage of SunGold conventional supply and the purpose of the split week rate is to encourage harvest at the beginning of the supply week and avoid all of the fruit being packed at the end of the week. The table below shows the new split week rate (highlighted).
