We are now into the home straight of mainpack and slightly ahead of our throughput plan. While cold mornings have added to the dynamic by delaying the start of picking each morning, and causing some canopy damage over the last 2 mornings, we are still expecting to finish after about another 7 days packing. Main Road, Peninsula and Kerikeri will finish this week. The last tranche of Organic packing is underway on Huka 1 and we are at full capacity across all Te Puke/Maketu region machines and Huka 2.
While fruit quality generally continues to be good, the variability between orchards continues however we are still packing some tremendous lines which are appreciated by the post-harvest teams.
I am pleased to say there are no safety incidents to report.
