Week 13 Update Thursday 31 March 2016
With a limited supply of Gold 3 available for the Zespri programme and this looking to continue for another week to 10 days there have been some further changes made to the kiwistart programme for Gold 3.
These changes are:

The Gold 3 supply cap has been increased to 11.95 million TE.

The week 12/13 rate for Submit will finish tonight [Thursday 31 March]

A premium of $0.55 per tray for all sizes will be paid for Gold 3 submitted from Friday 1 April through to Sunday 3 April.

The week 13/14 will be paid for fruit submitted from Monday 4 April to Sunday 10 April.

The week 14/15 rate will be paid from Monday 11 April to Thursday 14 April

Maturity for all varieties continues to be slower than had been expected. Despite this, the industry has managed to get the first Japan and Europe charters away to the market this week.
